Enter your website, name, description and category on the submit page, then choose Pay $10 — publish instantly. Stripe collects payment and your listing goes live after confirmation. No backlink or email code is needed. This is a one-time acceptance fee, not a higher position: listings are ordered by Freeboard clicks. Only legal websites are accepted; paid links are marked sponsored and nofollow.
Open the submit page, enter your listing details, and choose Verify your email. We send a six-digit code that expires after 15 minutes. Enter it to confirm you can access that inbox; Freeboard then reviews the listing before it appears on the directory.
You may use a work address, Gmail, Outlook, or another inbox you can access. Email verification confirms the submitter’s address; it does not replace Freeboard’s editorial review.
Add this link anywhere on a live, public page — a footer credit is the usual spot. Not a staging site, not a repo that hasn't been deployed yet.

rel="nofollow", sponsored, and ugc are all fine. Freeboard checks that the public link exists only as an ownership signal. It does not require or promise SEO authority, and it does not affect placement. A valid check publishes the listing automatically.
On the submit page, choose the button for your method. Entering a domain that is already listed loads its current details so you can amend them. A valid public-backlink check makes it live immediately. A correct email code places it in the review queue. If a backlink check fails, you can fix it and retry or switch to email review.
Unclaimed sites found by Freeboard keep their external link during the three-day claim countdown. After it expires, they remain listed but their link returns to Freeboard until an owner verifies it.
