A domain name alone is not a recommendation. Freeboard separates discovered candidates from listings whose operator has proved control and whose record can be reviewed.
Freeboard lists publicly reachable, legal websites across many categories. A record should help a visitor understand what the site is, who it is for, and where the outbound destination leads. We do not represent a listing as safe, successful, endorsed, or independently tested.
Freeboard may discover a domain in public sources and create an unclaimed claim candidate. It is visibly labelled as unclaimed, its outbound destination can close after its claim period, and it is excluded from Freeboard’s sitemap and search indexing. Candidates exist so an owner can correct, claim, or remove a record; they are not editorial recommendations.
A public Freeboard backlink can be checked automatically as an ownership signal. A six-digit code at any reachable email address confirms the submitter’s inbox, and the resulting request is reviewed in the operator panel before publication. Neither route changes a listing’s position: the homepage order is based on clicks delivered through Freeboard.
Operators can submit a name, category, and short description. We expect that description to be accurate and useful, not a string of search terms. Owners may submit corrections through the claim flow. Anyone can ask for a correction or removal through Contact Freeboard.
Freeboard counts a click only when someone follows a tracked outbound link from the directory. The count is a Freeboard measurement, not a traffic claim by the listed site. Outbound directory links are marked nofollow; listing or verification does not promise SEO benefit.
We do not sell homepage position, invent reviews, create fictitious users, or describe third-party sites as verified beyond the ownership method shown on the record. A listing can be removed when it is inaccurate, unlawful, misleading, or requested by its operator.
